The HEALTHone generic EHR database represents a rigorous implementation of the data model produced by the GEHR project, an EU-sponsored 5.2 M $ R&D project. The HEALTHone data model and its implementation are constantly being enriched to align with the emerging international standards for the communication of EHRs (CEN and ISO EN 13606, HL7 V3 CDA, etc..)
The model and its implementation fully support the requirements for comprehensiveness, clinical detail, flexibility adaptability, portability, communication capacity, language independence, medico-legal robustness and security.
