Health One Global develops new API for interfacing with external EHR applications
The recent development of numerous health-related applications for health professionals and for consumers has created the need for generic health record data storage and access facilities.
The HEALTHone technology offers such generic health record data storage and access facilities, based on its rich, standards compatible, data architecture.
Health One Global therefore has initiated the development of a specific API, accessible via the Internet. This API will use messages and data structures in xml, to include a full xsd representation of generic healthcare records. Access to the health record repository and services (write, read and analyses) will be channeled via Web services or Web APIs.
